Ajax Arena Logo – Jack Larner

Here’s an interesting fact I learnt about the AFC Ajax’s logo (Dutch football team) whilst touring the Amsterdam Arena last week: It is drawn using eleven lines – one for each team player on the pitch.

I love finding out the subtle details like that. A bit like the moment you notice the hidden arrow in the Fed Ex Logo.

The whole stadium is full of some fantastic interior design (excuse the iffy photo quality, they were quick iPhone snaps):

Inside one of the stadium boxes. Each box is owned by a company, who get to make the interior match their brand. This one was for a Dutch bank. I didn't ask how much each one cost!
